That is a 1970 stamp, each year thereafter a dot was removed a one dot below the USA indicates 1979. Yours has one dot below the USA.CRAFTSMAN copyrighted 1928. Kinfolks were granted the patent to use tungsten carbide on their knives in 1955, and the knives went into production afterward.
