Hello all! Come the introduction of Sword and Shield, I've really gotten into Gen 8 OU battles, and decided to make a fun, gimmicky team with some good synergy. I've always loved using trick room in previous generations, as being able to outspeed some of the horrifying meta mons (such as dragapult and scarfed darm.) was always very satisfying.Mega-Lopunny has always been one of my favorite megas, so that's why I wanted to build a team around it. With a base speed of 135, the only non-scarfed OU Pokemon that naturally out speeds Mega-Lopunny is Mega-Alakazam. Very few Pokemon can switch into Mega-Lopunny's attacks without being 2-hit KO-ed, especially if rocks are up.Look up sample teams on the internet. They have some for every significant metagame and it's a good place to start if you're not good at building. Just look up "usum ou sample teams" and pick the one that you like the most. I would say that since your new, that rain or a magearna team would be good for you.
